Publicize CTC opportunities

The CTC was created to help students find what ca- reer fields they are interest- ed in and better their skills to be successful. My freshman year, I had no idea what the CTC was. I also didn’t see a lot of courses that interested me until my senior year, when I enrolled into Entrepre- neurship. I had always been inter- ested in pursuing music or taking the entrepreneur- ship route for my career. My first week in CTC, I encountered some of the helpful staff, and discov- ered that there are a lot of classes like Cosmetology, Architectural Design, and Cybersecurity. On my way to class I walked passed a class of students recording in music studios and stu- dents working on cars. The CTC does a great job of giving students a feeling of maturity, independence, and confidence whenever they walk into the building. On my first day I felt like I was in some type of cool college. To find out more about CTC, ask your counselors about classes that may ben- efit your future.
